Annie Lannigan, a longtime sailor, racer, and broker whose career has aligned her with the top names in build as well as sales, has joined forces with Davidson Yachts.
Working with clients on new, refit, and pre-owned yachts, she brings the firm decades of knowledge about construction and design in power and sail. “Annie is a capable, hard-working, and get ‘er done broker,” company president Dana Davidson says. “Her synergy will boost the presence of Davidson in the marketplace. I couldn’t ask for a better partner.”
Lannigan, who holds a master’s degree in business administration, is a Florida licensed yacht broker and a member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America (YBAA). Her most recent position was with Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding of Maine. There, Lannigan developed the brokerage division, opening offices in Maine and in Rhode Island while working closely with clients on new builds and refits. She was with L-M eight years, in that time playing a major role over a range of boats, from the solo racer Kiwi Spirit to the well-appointed Swan 100 Red Sky.
Earlier, Lannigan’s liveaboard, offshore sailing, delivery, and superyacht racing career dovetailed with positions at Quickstep Sailboats, Dyer Boats, and C. Raymond Hunt Associates. She is a member of the Cruising Club of America and has been a member of the New York, Ida Lewis, and Barrington Yacht Clubs. She is formerly a liveaboard cruising sailor of TE MANA, a custom 65-foot Chuck Paine sloop.
Lannigan will continue to serve clients from Rhode Island and Florida, where she lives. She cruises New England waters aboard MARIGOLD, her down-east style lobster yacht. Reach her at 941-374-3742 and at annie@davidson-yachts.com
